On.Plant/MES is a production support software, which handles both the management of the manufacturing operations and the management of the operations concerned with production: inventory, quality, maintenance. On.Plant/MES checks in real time the capacity of the resources (materials, lines, and staff) and allows you to promptly reschedule production plans, in order to ensure a quality just-in-time flow between the various phases of the process. The system has been designed to optimize manufacturing activities through an effective Lean Production, which guarantees increase of production performance, cost reduction, quality improvement and cycle time reduction.

BILL OF MATERIALS MANAGEMENT
The Bill of Materials define how a product is obtained, or rather analytically which and how many different materials are needed to produce it. The hierarchical tree linking the codes "father" with codes "child" is an essential data for the calculation of the MRP algorithm (Materials Requirements Planning). The Bill of Materials also allows the user to define the machine or staff resources needed for the production and to parameterize the production line in order to automatize the set-up.
PRODUCTION LINES
The MES software can be configured to manage in real time the standard industrial processing lines: washing, processing, mixing, calibrating, painting, packaging, etc. Supervisors can monitor the processes from a single location.
TRACEABILITY
The recording of the loading materials’ operations on the production system and of generating the finished product, enable the user to automatically calculate the tracking/traceability connections of the production chain from the supplier up to the customer. There are different configurations available affecting the algorithm of calculation of the links: time, quantity, lot, consumption, etc.
INVENTORY
On.Plant/MES integrates with any warehouse management software (natively with On.Plant/WMS) or the corporate ERP to update in real time the quantity of product used and obtained from the production department. An inventory that is constantly updated and free of errors reduces the amount of unproductive stock.
COLLECTION OF PRODUCTION DATA
The software detects various information useful for monitoring, calculating KPI and optimizing production activities: plant downtime, piece counting, field data (temperatures, flow rates, set point, etc.), labour, etc. The indicators of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) can be viewed on displays installed in the department.

On.Plant/Scheduler allows the user to automate the generation of the program of a production department, natively integrating with On.Plant/MES, other MES or corporate ERP. Its purpose is to minimize the time and costs of production, organizing machine or manpower resources efficiently inside a factory.

AUTOMATIC CHOICE OF ARTICLES AND QUANTITIES TO BE PRODUCED
The scheduler enables the user to choose flexible criteria to determine the products and quantities to be obtained in the selected department (e.g. customer orders, covering index, minimum lot, grouping by family of products, etc.), or can receive the list of products and quantities directly from an external system..
CHECK FEASIBILITY PRODUCTION PLAN
The system, with a simulation method, checks the availability of the materials in the warehouse, highlighting the need of transfers from external warehouses, proposals for using alternative components, alarms on deadlines, etc.
AUTOMATIC ASSIGNMENT WORK ORDERS TO PRODUCTION LINES
On.Plant/Scheduler automatically generates the work program, by determining the sequence of excellent processing steps of the various work orders in order to reduce line set-up time and maximize the performance of the production department. The system controls the level of use of manpower and machine resources with respect to the defined capacity.

On.Plant/QMS (Quality Management System)
On.Plant/QMS is the software module that is able to computerise all factory documents (quality control files, non-conformity, HACCP tests, etc.), generally only drawn on paper, ensuring the production company more efficient management and supervision of the process and of the critical points in quality control, reducing the costs. Onit integrates On.Plant/QMS to production management software as On.Plant/MES or warehouse management software as On.Plant/WMS.

REGISTRATION WORKFLOW OF FACTORY DOCUMENTS
Each document of the factory is a flow which can be customized through a workflow. Using a set of elementary blocks ("Activity") it is possible to create and edit the Factory Document as desired. The system is installed straight away with some standard flows as instrumental and environmental measures, quality checks on the product, monitoring line activities, fault management, etc., which can then be extended as desired by the quality process operator.
QUALITY CONTROL FILE
On.Plant/QMS allows the user to define rules of control in the various stages of the production chain (acceptance, production, etc.) to raise the quality level of the product obtained. The measures and the frequencies of control are customizable on the basis of the product, supplier, customer, transporter, etc.
MANAGING OF NON-COMPLIANCE
The software contains a flow designed for the management of non-compliance. These events are outlined on the system and shared with all the managers to enable them to take the appropriate actions for improvement.
HACCP MANAGEMENT
The HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) is a self checking system that each operator in the sector of the production of food, medicines, etc. must put in place in order to evaluate and assess hazards and risks and establish control measures to prevent the occurrence of problems of hygiene, health or safety. The software On.Plant/QMS manages a monitoring computerised system that helps to ensure the control of critical points with tests, or with programmed analyses; the monitoring system will therefore be constituted of surveys, at defined times, for a specific parameter that must remain within a critical limit established.
